We met in the computer lab and learned how to post responses to the Wiki. We then learned how to upload flip videos to the website for sharing and viewed a video that had already been posted.

CGI should be once a week minimum. Second year twice a week, etc... We are giving lots of problems with equality and lessons to go with equality. The final problem will be given before the April meeting.
64/8=8 the 64 was covered up. We talked about how the Number of the Day can lead to problems that can be used for equality problems. Next time bring equality problems; successes and frustrations.
Base Ten: The cooks baked 25 cherry pies for President's Day. Thye used 2 cans of pie filling for each pie. Each can cost $.10. How many cans did they need?____How much did the filling cost? ________

Equality problems were shared and discussed. Carrie shared the step by step strategy that her class did on chart paper, solving an equality problem. Concerns were brought up regarding the expectations of the paper due in April. Is the focus on the three levels of students? 
Discussed equality problems, Base10 problems, and CGI notebooks.

Dorothy discussed relational thinking of second grade students working on CGI story problems. Discussed math curriculum and CGI, what it may look like next year. 
Carrie Hillman shared a set of fraction story problems. Jason shared ways children solved a pizza problems with a fraction answer. Brenda and Kristi shared strategies used by students.
